Does the Board office accept personal checks, money orders, and cashier's checks?
Personal checks are not accepted. We require money orders or cashier's check if you are not paying by credit card.

How do I report changes to my application once I have sent it in?
Any change or addition to your application must be made in writing and sent in via your Applicant Portal or by email.
What are the bar exam filing deadlines?
November 1st for the February bar exam.
May 1st for the July bar exam.
Is it acceptable to use fingerprint cards from another state or organization?
No. You need to request the correct fingerprint cards from our office. Please read the Fingerprint Card Instructions.
When is the bar exam administered?
The February bar exam is given the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February.
The July bar exam is given the last Tuesday and Wednesday of July.
How do I withdraw my application if I do not take the bar exam?
You must submit your withdrawal in writing through your Applicant Portal or by email.
I sat for the exam previously. Do I need to provide a new application?
Yes. You will need to complete the whole application process, fees included.
